The new museum has 28,000 square feet of indoor space and was built in November 2012. Its eight themed galleries create a sense of wonder and delight children who learn about science, technology, engineering, art and math through 150+ hands-on exhibits. The museum also has a half-acre Outdoor Discovery Center, one of the nation’s pilot sites for the Going Wild Program, where children can reconnect with nature.

Sundays & Mondays: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Outdoor Discovery Center closes at dusk.
Scheduled Art/Science Activities typically run 11 a.m.-3 p.m.—see daily calendar for specifics

Members: Free General Admission (age 1+): $10.95 Seniors (62+): $8.95 Military with ID: $8.95 Babies (0-11 months) are free but a ticket is still required.
